I have a crazy eye. It's not like Mad-Eye Moody's (I wish), the left one just really goes to the left, while the right one looks straight ahead.
If we had kids it would be great because I can see two things at once... my head could be facing slightly away from them, yet I could still see if they were doing something naughty... now I just use it on my husband, but he already thinks I have magical qualities, so it's not as much fun.
Today I'm going to the eye doctor to see if I can get it corrected, after 27 years. I never did it before because whenever I looked in the mirror (and focused), both eyes looked back at me, but that doesn't happen any more. It's effecting my driving because I over compensate so I don't go too far to the left, but then I end up going to the right too much... swerving a bit too much. (I'm surprised I haven't been pulled over for drunk driving yet.)
I love to read, but can't read for nearly as long, because my eyes start to hurt or I get a headache... and the computer screen... well let's just say I suffer for my art!
So what does this have to do with frugal living? Just a reminder to check which providers your insurance covers. We've failed to do that in the past, and had to pay more then we would have liked.
And while we're on insurance, when is the last time you searched around for quotes?? If it's been more then a year, there is no time like the present. And with the internet it's so much easier to do then in the past.
So your assignment for today: Get some new car/home/etc... quotes. No need to tell me thanks when you save some money.... just do me a favor and put it towards your debt.
