Laundry Soap

Powdered Laundry Soap:
1 bar finely grated soap (Ivory, Fels Naptha, or a combination)
1 cup borax
1 cup arm and hammer washing soda
Mix and store in a coffee can or what have you. Use 2-3 T per load.**

It'll depend if you have hard or soft water. Ours is softer so I do 2 for a regular load and 3 for big. You may need to use more if you're water is hard.
I've seen a huge difference in how white my white's are... but it's kind of strange not to see any bubbles.
The Fels Naptha gives it a nice lemony smell... I got that at IGA in the laundry aisle, but the Ivory is cheaper if bought in a ten pack, and still works well.
I used a shredder and used the smallest holes... some people use a food processor, but I didn't want to clean that out, so I just bought a cheaper hand held cheese shredder.
